“An applied utopia?”

An applied utopia?

[reading, demonstr@ction, performance, debate]

CiP M-Marseille, FR

The question is asked at the opening of the section “Aphorisms”, recently published by the ARTGO & company editions in the book of “Dé-CONNEXIONS”, among a set of recent poems by Demosthenes Agrafiotis. The poet seems to question “poetry” as it would be for the author an “artistic practice” in its own right. Following this new publication and on the occasion of one of its stays in France, the Cipm receives Demosthenes Agrafiotis for a meeting in three stages: bilingual reading (Greek / French) of a selection of poems published in “Dé-CONNEXIONS” & “Maribor”; a performance entitled “Crisis. Cries. Crises. Crisiology. “; an exchange of insights with Michaël Batalla around contemporary Greek poetry.
